Guest guest Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 Sat Nam Everyone: I have been practicing KY since August and it is THE most amazing thing I have ever encountered. Since I am kind of " flighty " at times and have tended in the past to change my mind and opinions often, I had committed to myself that I would wait for a year before requesting a spiritual name. My reasoning was that if I was still committed after 365 days, I would receive much more benefit from the naming. Maybe take it more seriously or whatever... But I feel ready now. What do you guys think, is this just impatience talking or should I just go for it... I'd love to hear your experiences. How did obtaining a spiritual name change you, if at all...I'm also worried, I guess, about relinquishing control, and what if I don't " like " the name chosen for me...?
