Guest guest
Sat Nam Santokh Kaur: What helped my body (our bodies are so amazingly capable of and willing to heal!) awareness of how I was standing and carrying my body's weight on my feet especially my arch and ankle. While standing I have become accustom to lifting my big toe thereby lifting the arch and feeling the energizing effect this has on my entire lower body. Also be aware of the point at the back portion of the arch just before the foot curves down toward the heel. There is an energy center there which can be felt as a spiral moving down, back toward the heel, across the bottom of that small area and back up in to the foot. I did standing postures even though there was pain and allowed myself to feel what happened as adjustments were made to my foot. Also, lots of foot massage and maybe a good reflexologist. Glorious day! Guru Gopal Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam A very good website for safe exercises to help Plantar Fasciitis is http://heelspurs.com/bbs/bbv.cgi?n=170124 People have different ideas about which exercises are best. Some recommend weight bearing exercises. I agree with the safer approach of non weight bearing exercises as described on this website. Good luck and blessings Guru Ram Kaur (UK)
Guest guest
stretching the feet any which way. working all the muscles - flexting the feet and spreading the toes. Some toes might not spread - the goal is to be able to muscularly spread them all evenly. Work the fingers of one hand in between all five toes - squeeze the toes against the fingers. Maybe seek out a good Anusara or Iyengar teacher who has experience with this - I'm told by some Anusara teachers that they completely healed this problem. ______________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
