Guest guest
Sat Nam, This is correct: There is no Theism or Deism in Sikh Dharma as taught by Guru Nanak & Yogi Bhajan. So the fear of being tamed by egotistic celestial deities is not an issue either. As the Tibetan Dharma points out (in the deeper teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha) the Celestial Deities are as real a class of sentient beings as the human and animal classes. AND these deities are as equally bound and limited by ego as any other of the six classes. From this, we also recognize (as conveyed by Siri Singh Sahib Yogiji) that Shakyamuni Buddha said " It is equally impossible to prove that God exists or God doesn't exist. " At the same time, " God's existence " is really not at all relevant to the process of Human Enlightenment. The Sikh bows to Infinite Transparent Wisdom (Wahe Guru), and it is the Guru who delivers us to " G.O.D. " In his own words, Yogiji also stated very clearly in a Los Angeles lecture, that " The only place that God " exists " is in the dictionary. " In other words, " existence " is a very tricky concept, and in many ways over rated in its presumed importance. Neither was Yogiji an " A-theist. " He wasn't against anything. As I took his point, the issue about " G.O.D. " will make a lot more sense AFTER we're enlightened (through the agency of Wahe Guru, which is tasteless, odorless, colorless, and Desireless). Being desireless, the Guru doesn't worry about anything, and neither should we. This is the ultimate seal that's invoked in saying " Wahe Guru ji ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru ji ki fateh. " That's a yoga, too. Hang your hat (or turban) on Wahe Guru and it will be there, waiting there on the " other side " when your days under the sun have completed. Don't worry about God and God won't have to worry about you. Personally I've never found this UFO, master seed, super race, manipulating humanity theory very interesting or fruitful. It dissolves quiet easily and disappears in a beautiful hot cup of yogi tea, as I meditate on Wahe Guru. many Blessings, Krishna Singh Kundalini-Yoga , " C. F.
