I am now accepting registration for a yoga retreat in Costa Rica.

This is geared toward brand new yogis as well as those with beginning

or intermediate experience who want to take their practice to a

higher level. If you have students, family or friends who might be

interested please pass the word along.

See the details below:

DEEPENING YOUR CONNECTIONS

A yoga retreat in Costa Rica: January 31-February 7, 2009

Deepen your Connections…

• To your Yoga Practice…take your yoga to the next level!

Whether you are a beginner or a more serious yoga student, developing

the comfort and tools to create a daily practice (Sadhana) can expand

your yoga and your life. The focus of this week will be to provide a

deeper understanding of the inner workings around yoga and to give

you the confidence and tools to begin to integrate yoga into your

daily life. You will learn simple yoga series as well as different

components and exercises around which to expand your daily practice.

You will also have the opportunity to stretch yourself in more

advanced sets and postures if you choose. We will primarily practice

the art of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation* but will also be exploring

some aspects of Hatha Yoga.

Each day you will have two opportunities to take yoga classes.

Morning yoga will open, awaken and stimulate you. Evening yoga will

offer quiet, restoration and relaxation. We will also have three

longer workshops to explore breath, meditation, and mantras (sound

vibrations) as well as nightly reflection circles to share, play and

connect. All yoga events are optional. Select the perfect blend to

support your unique path.

• To your Infinite Self…live in alignment with your inner

wisdom

Yoga is the union of your incarnated human self and your Infinite

Self. Yoga and meditation is a form of communication with your

Infinite Self. During and in the after glow of meditation, you will

often find answers or inspiration from within. It is a beautiful

time to deepen your divine awareness and intuition, strengthen your

inner wisdom, and live your truth more fully. Bring a notebook or

journal, if you want, to make note of the powerful messages that will

flow.

• To your Loved Ones…balance the Me in We in your relationships

Take a retreat from outer distractions and immerse yourselves in the

union of partnership, friendship or family as you celebrate and re-

connect in this breathtaking setting. This is a wonderful

opportunity to re-connect or re-commit to a relationship, celebrate

an anniversary, or mark a stage of life journey in a unique way with

a circle of family or friends. Make this next vacation one of inner

and outer connections!

About Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the yoga of awareness and

is the science and technology to consciously channel and balance your

inner energy. Beyond building flexibility and endurance in the

physical body, Kundalini Yoga balances the glandular system,

strengthens the nervous system and enables us to control the mind

rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings. We use

breath, posture, mantra (sound) and mudra (hand positions) to awaken

energy and expand in an integrated, holistic way. One can be in

various ranges of physical fitness to participate - if you can

breathe and lean in the right direction of the exercise you will get

benefits. As in life, start wherever you're at and build from there!

In my opinion, Kundalini Yoga is the ultimate body-mind-spirit

expansion tool which I've discovered. At the retreat during our

opening circle I will share with you how a 3 minute meditation has

completely changed my life!

Currently 15 spots are reserved, so sign up early to secure your

place.

Contact Jamie Durner/Kirat Kaur at jdurner or 262-389-5835

hotel for the night before, assistance is available.

Caribbean style Bungalows are nestled into lovely tropical gardens.

Built with precious woods exquisitely polished, all have private

international main course, sautéed or baked vegetables, and desserts!

• A one hour massage treatment: is included. Choose from Deep

Tissue, Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, or Stress Release

Therapy. See the web link under spa for detailed descriptions.

late afternoon) & 1 evening circle per day plus 3 two hour workshops

over the course of the retreat are available.

• Two eco tours: (additional tours available for an extra fee)

1. Cahuita National Park: This 5+ hour tour will start with a

boat trip to the coral reef where you will be exploring the natural

wonders via snorkeling. Then will follow a guided walk on the Cahuita

National Park's trail. The rest of the day is to be enjoyed lying on

the white sand beach or visiting Cahuita Village.

2. Waterfall Trekking: This is a 3 hour tour which centers on a

guided trek to a majestic waterfall. Forty minutes to an hour walk in

the jungle, in the river, up and down big rocks. Healing and

powerful, the waterfall is like a jungle's baptism. Jumping under the

strong jets will massage and renew anyone!

Airfare not included…however, if enough of us are leaving from

Milwaukee or Chicago, I may be able to arrange a group fare.

Optional Body-Mind & Life Coaching…there will be just 10 individual
