Question- , Gobinday, mukunday mantra meditation

Sat Nam, I´ve been doing the core alignment meditation from the book The Mind that involves chanting gobinday, mukunday, udaray, aparay, harayaeng, karayaeng, nirnamay, akamay while pulling mulaband tighter and tighter with each word of the mantra for 31 minutes..this meditation is very dealing subconscious fear issues and it seems to be working well. The mantra is said to work on the heart, if i remember correctly. I was told to incorporate a meditation that raises the energy to the heart as my sadhana is too navel focused 22mins. sat, 22mins sodarshan kriya. The focus of this meditation is on the 1st chakra but mantra is said to work on the heart according to the free online lessons section dealing with mantra. Am I doing enough to work with the heart with this meditation? -Chris Cadiz, Spain
