NIH Yoga Week: Exploring the Science and Practice of Yoga

May 19 – 23, 2008

 

If you live in the Washington, DC, the National Institutes of Health

(NIH) will have its very first annual NIH Yoga Week. You can sign up

for the May 2008 Yoga WeekListserv, where you can get a complete

detailing of events, speakers, locations, etc. By attending you'll

show your support for NIH's commitment to fund research on yoga and

health. Send an email to levinerac to sign up for the

listserv. NIH Yoga Week is a partnership between the National Heart,

Lung, and Blood Institute, the National Cancer Institute, NIH Office

of Research Services, the NIH Recreation and Welfare, and Thrive Yoga

Rockville. All are welcome to attend, practice and hear about research

involving Yoga and Health.

 

Below is a schedule for the week (all programs are in the afternoons

or evenings)

 

May 19th, 2008 (Monday)

 

Title: Kick-Off to 1st annual NIH Yoga Week.
