Guest guest
Sat Nam, I am considering attending Women's Camp with my toddler and would like to know if anyone can tell me what arrangements can be made for small children who accompany their mothers when the mothers want to participate in classes and events during camp? Many thanks, Amy
Guest guest
Sat Nam Amy, Have you gone to the website www.3ho.org and clicked on women's camps. There you will find detailed information about camp. You will also find the coordinator's contact info. I have attended women's camp since my child was 4 months old. He will be 5 this May and participating in the youth camp. The previous years they have had day care for mothers with children up to 3 years old. At 4 years old they are able to go to the youth camp. What is great this year is both camps are up at Ram Das Puri which I believe will make the logistics of the younger kids going to camp but not sleeping overnight much easier. My son will be there during the day and for meals but returning to "women's camp" to sleep. I have wonderful friendships with mothers that I have met at women's camp. We return every year and our children have relationships. I know the coordinators do their best to make camp "child friendly" meaning that in the past my son and other children have been to classes with us. We've equipped them with a project (coloring, cutting and pasting) to do while we did yoga.
