Teachers Conference at Summer Solstice Sadhana

Come sit together with Kundalini Yoga teachers from around the world

on Friday, June 20, under the Tantric Shelter at Ram Das Puri for the

2008 International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA)

Conference. We will start our day at 10:30 am and finish by 5:00 pm

(…so arrive by Thursday evening, June 19!).

 

" We ARE the Teachings "

… is the theme of the 2008 IKYTA Conference. There is no better way

to start our day than with Guru Singh's uplifting message of " We're

in the Right Place at the Right Time with the Right Technology. "

Later, Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa will share his experiences with " The

Scientific Applications of Kundalini Yoga. "

 

Your Stories

Woven in between these two wonderful teachers are your stories! We

are happy to announce a new feature at this year's conference. IKYTA

will feature models of successful, unusual and serviceful use of the

teachings by teachers just like you … in small towns, big cities and

rural areas! These are " best practices " that you will be able learn

from and use immediately once you return home ... guaranteed!

Almost as important is that the 2008 IKYTA Conference is FREE for all

teachers attending Summer Solstice!

When Yogi Bhajan first heard the acronym IKYTA, he pronounced it Ik-

ta, and said, " Perfect. It means Oneness. " He said there was one

IKYTA and that all teachers belonged to it; that " We want every

teacher to be independent, but have a link. " IKYTA is that link and

our 2008 Conference, " We ARE the Teachings, " is sure to both inspire

you and provide you with new tools to be the best teacher you can

be!

 

Teacher Awards

We will also continue our tradition of honoring the service of

Kundalini Yoga teachers nominated by their peers. Please remember to

send in your nomination for this year's Teacher Recognition Ceremony

(... the deadline for nominations is June 1st).

In order to participate fully at this year's IKYTA Teachers

Conference, plan to arrive at Summer Solstice on Thursday evening,

June 19th. You won't want to miss one minute of this exciting day

of " teachers helping teachers " provided by the annual International

Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association's conference.
