The written description seems to differ from the illustration on the third exercise. It sounds like your arms should go overhead as you stand up from crow pose and as you go back to crouching, they should go out to the sides. The pictures look reversed from that. Does anyone in the group teach this? It's recommended for working on the 1st (soul) body in tantric numerology from the www.3ho.org site (a pretty cool link for anyone who hasn't checked their reading yet!) Anyway, when I first tried this kriya, I thought it must be for 18 year old superhumans with incredibly good knees, but I must say it's done wonders for my knees as well as opening my heart.
