Balancing the Male & Female Forces:A Journey Through the Chakras in Yucatan,

Mexico

On this exciting eight day journey we will focus on balancing the 7 chakras

(energy

centres) through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation and visiting

Mayan sites

that connect to each chakra.Our Kundalini experience will encompass specific

kriyas

(completed action) for each chakra and will resonate with the energies of the

sites and

temples we shall encounter.

 

At each site we will participate in Mayan ritual and ceremonies and guided

through specific

meditations to help us connect with the Mayan energetic wisdom. These sacred

sites will

also be our teachers, heightening our awareness, elevating, purifying and

celebrating our

living existence as energetic beings.

 

We will weave the two authentic lineages of Serpent Power, opening ourselves to

receive an

energetic transmission from Mata Shakti, the feminine serpent power, also known

as

Ixchel for the Mayan. The embodiment of Serpent energy, one of the key

transformational

essences honoured in ancient Mayan practices is manifested as Kukulkan

Quetzalcoatl, the

Celestial Rainbow or Feathered Serpent which harmonises beautifully with the

risen

Kundalini Serpent energy of the Yogic tradition.

ABOUT KATHRYN MCCUSKER

Eight years ago in Yucatan,Mexico, Kathryn discovered Kundalini Yoga. Certified

teacher of

Kundalini Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Children's Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Kathryn

trained with Guru Dharam Singh at the School of Kundalini Yoga (SKY) in the UK

and with

Karta Singh at the Amrit Nam Sarovar School in France.

 

Kathryn passionately shares this transformational practice, teaching throughout

London

and offering yoga workshops and retreats worldwide. Chanting with Kathryn takes

on

another dimension as she was principal soprano with Opera Australia for 7 years.

Her

career as a professional singer and teacher informs her approach to mantras,
