Guest guest
Sat nam, Has anyone ever read " Kundalini and the Chakras " , by Genevieve Lewis Paulson (published by Llewellyn)? I bought this book last week to learn more about Kundalini, and, to be honest, the book is giving me the willies! In the chapter entitled " Involuntary release of Kundalini " , she mentions that the rise of Kundalini might have these effects: -Depression -Suicidal thoughts and death wishes -Strain on marriages -Disorientation -Radical changes in personality or spirituality -Constipation -Storm of erratic moods According to the author, the rising of kundalini is a " strain " , which hasn't been my experience thus far with KY. Is the author right, or is this what happens with the rise of Kundalini when it's not Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan? This isn't a 3HO manual, and there's no mention of KY/Yogi Bhajan in the book. Please let me know--I'm a bit worried. Like I said, it hasn't been my experience thus far, but I'm wondering if it's because I haven't delved deep enough into KY yet to have this happen to me. Thank you so much in advance for your help. I feel really grateful to have such a supporting community as this. Nadh Singh
