Sat nam, ji. If you are curious about evidence of the benefits of yoga and meditation, Satbir Khalsa's (http://www.kriteachings.org/Bios/Sat%20Bir%20Singh%20Khalsa%20-%20Bio.htm) lecture, "Yoga: Present, Past, and Future", from NIH's Yoga Week, http://does.ors.od.nih.gov/fitness/yogaWeek.htm, now is available. Just email Rachel Levine, at levinerac, for a copy.I was at this event as well, representing sponsor Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation, whose director Dharma Khalsa, MD, was demonstrating the results of his work at the University of Pennsylvania, with Dr. Andrew Newberg, on using the kirtan kriya meditation to help alzheimers patients. It was amazing to see the MRI photos of the alzheimer brain getting smoother and fuller after kundalini yoga

meditation. Details of this study are here: http://www.alzheimersprevention.org/research.htm. Every yogi should have Dr. Dharma's classic, "Meditation as Medicine": http://www.drdharma.com/Public/Store/Books/index.cfm. In the book is a great chart to find a meditation based on your health issue or goal in life. At this website also you can learn about the "Meditation of the Month Club", http://www.drdharma.com/Public/Store/MeditationoftheMonthClub/index.cfm, an easy way to meditate in a group, but from your own home, and with a different meditation every 30 days so you get good variety.Regardless of scientific proof showing what humans have known for millennia - that yoga works - the bottom line is habit: making yoga a daily practice. To find a kundalini yoga teacher near you, click the "directory" at www.3ho.org. At 3HO's website, don't forget to check out Summer Solstice, the

biggest and most overwhelming spiritual event on the planet every year.Blessings,Amar AtmaCharles Frohmanwww.cfrohman.com
