Guest guest
Hi everyone. First Time Summer Solstice attendee here, looking for sage advice on what to pack... (And no, they don't need to be in alphabetical order like the car-ride game.) Many thanks. Sumpuran Kaur
Guest guest
Some fabulous panties! and bras! Some lovely simple tops that will go with anything. I like to wear white capris White linen pants White pencil thin skirt for a special evening with some strappy sandels or a Nice summer dress . Some camisoles or Teddies. Jeans if you have comfortable jeans. A shirt to sleep in. Make it your lover's shirt so, you feel close when apart. Things to layer and things for a cooler evening- Think Cashmere cardigans(I love cardies because the advantages are to layer underneath) are great because one can keep them open and at the same time has the advantage of keeping arms and shoulders warm. Yoga pants and tops(I bring a variety of those with me and as I am boringly into wearing white or beige or grey but mostly whites I tend to wear basic black or brown yoga pants with really comfortable sneakers-runners and then tops and colours I allow myself to become experimental. Many stores now carry beautiful cottons that keep a person cool. Another good item is a White Pashmina(available now inexpensively) and instead of taking lots of outerwear take this...... just toss it over your shoulders and you are warm as toast. Also it is comforting to put under your head at night- like a child's blankie or to thrown over your head if you see that annoying man/woman from last year that you want to avoid. If caps or a hat are your style bring one. I like to take my own Dr Haushka's massage oil so I can give people foot massages. I particularly love his Blackthorn oil. I take lots of toothpaste and toothbrushes. My floss and some simple remedies....band aids and organic apple cider and maybe some organic bars in case I get overly tired from unpacking all this stuff. I also take some great CDs for the car and a book in case I get stranded I make sure I have sunglasses and sun cream. I take my favourite pillow and a photograph of my child/ren. Hope that helps....Sat Nat Nat Kundalini-Yoga , Miriam Friedland <miriam_friedland wrote: > > Hi everyone. > First Time Summer Solstice attendee here, looking for sage advice on what to pack... > (And no, they don't need to be in alphabetical order like the car- ride game.) > Many thanks. > > Sumpuran Kaur >
Guest guest
Imeant to add Sleeping bag Tent Wellingtons moisturizers Baby oil Powder Johnson & Johnson Swimsuit Important ********* if you bring an insect repellent make sure (I never use one but please use with caution) do not use deet or bug off as people have sprayed these on and then gone to bed and died- the fumes are lethal- I never ever have used bug sprays or lotions on my children or myself and the candles are worse- Think about it- if it harms insects it harms us-I did use that Avon product when I wa sin New Guinea and it worked fine...... Years ago people sprayed DDT everywhere and now we know what damage that caused) If you use contacts as the air may be dry take lots of your drops...Sat Nat Nat Kundalini-Yoga , Miriam Friedland <miriam_friedland wrote: > > Hi everyone. > First Time Summer Solstice attendee here, looking for sage advice on what to pack... > (And no, they don't need to be in alphabetical order like the car- ride game.) > Many thanks. > > Sumpuran Kaur >
