Sat Nam all. I'm new on this list, and am just catching up with the last several digests I've received, so I just saw this email and had an immediate thought about something that has helped me a lot in the past. The sadhana meditation, Rakee Rakhanahar, is said to help you guard against the negativity of others, especially if directed at you.

I've had the experience of being able to remain calm and un-reactive in the face of extreme negativity from a " bad boss " when keeping that mantra going in my mind. Pick one that resonates with you from any of the numerous wonderful sadhana meditation CDs, for instance, and commit it to your memory and your heart, and bring it to the forefront of your consciousness when dealing with, or even thinking of, that negative person. If you can play it softly on your stereo or boombox if the person is visiting your home or office, that will help you too.

Yes, YB said something like, " Remember the other person is you " , but

does anyone have a practical suggestion for dealing with someone with

an extraordinarily negative attitude, projections, and delusions? You

can't choose your relatives- is there a protective mantra that anyone

in the group has had success with?
