" The course runs from September 22 through April 13 Class meets twice a month for 2 hours on Monday evenings from 7 - 9pm Eastern Time This course includes exploration and discussion of~ Sikh Rehit Maryada (Sikh code of conduct & lifestyle practices) Seva (selfless service) Understanding the Banis (Daily Sikh Prayers) History and Composition of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Gurbani, Gurmukhi, Naad Yoga and Nitnem (An exploration of the science and technology of sound current) Experiences in Interpersonal Communication The Formation of the Sikh Character through Sikh History Dasvand and Prosperity Consciousness Kundalini Yoga and Sikhism Rites of Passage including Amrit, Marriage & Death Rituals This course offers a rich experience of diversity in community. It is appropriate for those wanting to learn more about Sikhism and what it means to live Sikh Dharma, for those interested in becoming ministers, and for any yogis who want to deepen their understanding of the Sikh lifestyle, values and daily experience.
