Our program has graduated a high percentage of teachers whohave found a gratifying career teaching Kundalini Yoga. They haveopened their own centers, traveled to other areas to teach andincorporated their skills into a satisfying alternative to the 9 to 5grind. (Those students who remained in the 9 to 5 world have foundthat their study of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is a wonderful wayto absorb the ups and downs of the workaday world.)If you live in the states Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, or Iowa, we areyour local Teacher Training Source. Call us at 826 561 5337 for moreinfo or e mail us at this board. We'd love to hear from you. Having used his services, I heartily recommend a quick phone call to see how you're dealing with Life's roadblocks to your Path, and what kriyas and meditations can get us back on track.I also encourage all the other healers, especially those with whom phone consultations are possible, to advertise their services with a quick email tokundalini-yoga . Yogi Bhajan's humanology included a lot more than just kundalini yoga. He taught on every subject. So let the experts share!Blessings,Amar AtmaP.S. I find that meditation is most powerful. Any set that manages stress and releases nervous tension in the body is good to do before meditation. However, the most powerful posture is camel. reaching back towards your feet sitting in rock pose and arching the chest forward and up maintaining a stretched spine massages the second chakra of creativity and reproduction. Breath of fire enables blockages to be released.Good luck and hope to see you again on the North Shore of Boston.Arjan Kaur/Ipswich, MA***BREATHE in and BREATHE out LIGHT and LOVE daily.*** ...Ingrid Ingrid F. Some months ago, I was asked to fill out the wikipediareference for Yogi Bhajan - which I did by the grace of Guru Ram Das.There are 2 things I would like some help with, both to enhance thatarticle and to honour the life and work of Yogi Bhajan.1) I would like some help or advice on how to address the "cult"critique that has been posted at the top of this article. I knowthere is a loose administration that runs wikipedia, but I have noexperience in working with or through it.2) I would also appreciate it if anyone were able to spruce the siteup with photos, much as the Albert Einstein is decorated. If you havetechnical smarts to do it - or if you would like to give me someadvice on this - I would be happy to hear from you.Thanks.Back to topReply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post Messages in this topic (1)8a.Re: nausea?Posted by: "Guru K" greatyoga greatyogaTue Aug 5, 2008 1:07 pm (PDT)Santokh KaurI do not know why KY would be causing nausea. Forty years ago I became affiliated with 3HO . I am blessed to have been in the Sikh Community of Nanak Dwara in the early seventies . . . . and many of the habits of Sadhana as well as diet and reading of the Siri Guru Grath Sahib (this is the 300th year celebration!) are practices I continue. . . thanks to the technology of the Internet ! I am interested in taking classes, but live in a community where there is no Sikh community . . .unfortunately. I would like to rejuvinate skills and community membership and attend a teacher's retreat and am interested to know if there are ever any special discounts for persons over the age of fifty-five years who are on a fixed income. I also did my own colonics. I taught Yoga and swam everyday! Not recommended to do any cardio, you need rest and time off because the mind can get a little spacey! May be difficult to have a day job while fasting due to the demands. In Yoga Philosophy fasting once a week gives the digestive track a rest.Seeing the Light of the Divine,Verna (Adi Purkha Kaur)>Back to topReply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post Messages in this topic (2)RECENT ACTIVITY18New Members1New Links3New FilesVisit Your GroupCurves on Share & discussCurves, fitnessand weight loss.Special K ChallengeJoin others whoare losing pounds.Cat Groupson Share pictures & stories about cats.Need to Reply?Click one of the "Reply" links to respond to a specific message in the Daily Digest.Create New Topic | Visit Your Group on the WebMessages | Files | Photos | Links | Database | Polls | Members | Calendar Change settings via the Web ( ID required) Change settings via email: Switch delivery to Individual | Switch format to Traditional Visit Your Group | Terms of Use | Un Hari ParkashPrograms Director, Golden Bridge323-988-4062hari
