Guest guest
Sat Nam, Actually, I know many kundalini yoga practitioners who use neti pots for clearing the sinuses, etc., including myself. I doubt that there's ever been a poll taken as to numbers of neti pot users among Kundalini yogis, and we don't wear badges, so there's really no way of knowing how many of us there are. Such yogic practices as neti pot and UT are mentioned from time to time, even in Yogi Bhajan's lectures, among many other possible yogic health practices that could prove beneficial. It has always been up to each individual to adopt such practices or not. Once in a discussion of the benefits of particular foods he told me, " It's all an experiment, and the good people share the results of their experiments. " As for Yogi Bhajan's own health status, he told us even in his youth that he was not destined to live past his 48th year; we " prayed " him into a longer stay (and I'm sure his sense of " dutiful is beautiful " kept him here). His vast yogic knowledge and disciplines were no match for his power to sacrifice - which saw him flying to serve people in all parts of the world nearly every week - and offering his own bone marrow through years of filtering the dis- eases of others as the Mahan Tantric of White Tantric Yoga - a service he continues as a subtle body. If the object of life and yoga were merely to remain in perfect health and leave a beautiful corpse, you might think he failed. (Though, truth be told, at the end of his life he was quite thin - and beautifully diaphanous with light). Those who hold that the purpose of the body is to serve the purpose of the soul would offer, instead, that his state of yoga (as " union " rather than mere health regime) was so perfected that there are still thousands of us who continue to be healed in his spirit, and through the legacy of his teachings. Guest guest
It is clear that Yogi Bhajan lives through the devoted.
