Whae Guruji Ke Fateh Whae Guruji Kan Khalsa

Is there anyone who recalls the early Nanak Dwara days in Phoenix?

Many moons ago I transcribed Siri Singh Sahib's Berkley lectures in a

small alcove in the upstairs quarters of Nanak Dwara Ashram in

Phoenix. I have fond memories of Hugh Down's daughter, DeDe Downs , of

course Bibi Bhani Kaur and many others.

I keep all of the Sat Sangat in my prayers daily.

I am Daya Jyoti Kaur , or Corinne - and this is my first attempt at

beginning a topic on this Kundalini Yoga Group.

Looking forward to Kirtan in Minneapolis ( " Land of Swedes and

Lutherans " ) and possibly a " born-again " Sikh or two . . .!

Hmmm, “elderly” ???

Although I lived in Tucson in

the early 70’s, I spent quite a bit of time in Phoenix in the days of Baba Don and Pangat

and the rest of the crew. I vaguely remember everyone but those were the days

of 3 day, continuous round-robin yoga – 1 hour of sleep a day, water

cleansing and round-the-clock kriyas with no rest between them. So the physical

world wasn’t always close at hand to say the least!
