Guest guest
Hello, everybody, Sat Purkh Kaur brought her beautiful voice and Spirit to Minneapolis last Thursday for the Peace Day Chant Event at the Midtown Global Market, and she rocked our town. Sat Purkh, Emily and drummer Nath Kumar held market-goers spellbound with Kundalini Kirtan and song, and our local Kundalini Yoga Sangat showed up with focused support. Then Sat Purkh presented an evening of Kirtan at the Center for Happiness followed the next day by the " Man to Man Workshop for Women, " and she finished up her tour with a Chanting and Kirtan gathering for a mostly non-Kundalini Yoga crowd at Minnehaha Yoga who were heard to have remarked to one another on the way out, " I now wish we had Kundalini Yoga classes here! " Then our little entourage ate at the new Ghandi Mahal restaurant where the staff cranked the " Nectar of the Name " CD for two complete playings before we went home, full on the Guru-groove. BE WARNED MOTHER CENTER: You may have a visit from one of the most talented tabla players around, Mr. Nath Kumar from Minneapolis! He is the only one so far who can keep rhythm with Sat Purkh Kaur's Texas-style Kirtan " pick'ns! " Thank you, Angad Kaur, Beyonce' Singh, Sunderta Kaur, Guru Narayan Kaur, Sat Singh, Ravi Har Kaur, CFH, Minnehaha Yoga, Ajai Singh and Gurbani Kaur for your special love and support in helping bring the Naad alive in Minneapolis. Love Sunder Kaur, Mpls.
