Guest guest
One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes of my life. For each scene I noticed ONE set of rather deep footprints.I fell on my knees and cried, " O great and glorious LORD, thy ... " " Enough of that LORD-ing! " she scolded, " and to tell you the truth, I'm pretty tired of the thy-s and thine-s! " " But, but.. " I protested. She kindly pulled me up to her level and said, " Now stop your buts and watch this... " The deep footprints continued - when the saddest and the lowest scenes of my life appeared in the sky, I noticed two sets of footprints!!! " But.. but, " I protested again, " Isn't there supposed to be only one set of footprints when I was sad - I remember that story when the Lord picked up the person when he was sad... " And she replied.....~~~~~ If you know what her reply was, please send it to daljitMsingh - the best ones will be published. http://seekerofone.blogspot.com/2008/09/aquarian-footprints-in-sand.html
Guest guest
I believe what Barack Obama is saying is there are no quick fixes and that is true. If any of us out there, yogis or not, are hopeful that whoever wins will effect all these changes overnight, that is an unrealistic expectation. I do believe we must vote from our hearts, but Sarah Palin, whether she be female, black or whatever is dangerous and likely to be the person in charge because of John McCain's age. Whatever else she may be, she is not a friend to any animals - a hunter who targets & shoots wolves from the air. That team is dangerous to all living things. Perhaps you might read Barack Obama's books to get a more clear insight on his plan-not once does he say he can offer immediate fixes. The message here should be go vote. If I am out of line, sorry, but I believe this lady is very dangerous to our planet-period. For the record, I am a female senior citizen. Guest guest
Below is a paragraph from the Seattle Times today. Obama has a coherent plan that includes some drilling, as a stopgap, but he looks to a mix of renewable resources. He is more likely to move America off its dependence on foreign oil. McCain has been in office for 26 years and done little to change this dynamic.
Guest guest
Dear Charlotte: Thank you for your post, I too read Barack's books and especially his first one inspiring and insightful. I think it shows a thoughtful heart centered man. Hopefully the years and the challenges have not changed that, which The Audacity of Hope seems to reflect. It would be good if more people read his books rather than the superficial quick judgments made. His first book was so good that my sister, an award winning high school English teacher, used it in her classroom. Now that he is " famous " she no longer uses it but still believes in and supports the man who wrote it. Sat nam Amrita
