Guest guest
A small point of clarification: Regarding Glass-Steagall http://longlivethevillagegreen.blogspot.com/2008/09/wheres-glass-steagall-act-when-you-need.html Just like the revamping of "welfare", it was bi-partisan effort. When the shoe fits, the foot is forgotten. When the belt fits, the belly is forgotten. When the heart is right, "for" and "against" are forgotten. -Chuang Zzu Don't worry, be Happy -Bobby Mcferrin Politics is a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. -Me ramneetkaurflorida wrote: Excellent comments, especially about the financial regs that were repealed a mere 9 years ago. It only took 9 years to wreck the system! Guess they weren't so smart after all. This will ean the loss of probably millions of middle and upper middle class jobs. A big message of yogiji's message was that things would get bumpy around 2012 and this all certainly fits the bill, although I'm still hoping he was flat out wrong. He wanted us to strengthen our nervous systems so we'd be ready for practically anything, as I understand it. May I point out that we have the rare opportunity to vote for someone who has been through the refining fire and come out on the other side?
