Guest guest
Sat Nam, I am a kundalini yoga teacher that have taken the non-specialized teachers training and have now gotten a request to do yoga for kids at age 4-6 years. I know very little how to approach this class but relied on that these forums would bring clarity. What are the do and don't and what set would suit them etc? How long should a class be, and could someone outline what to include? All tips, experiences and suggestions are heartfully welcome. Guest guest
Shakta's book Fly Like A Butterfly and her DVD's would give you tons of ideas for that age range. I've used them very successfully. Kelly BuddhiWear - organic yoga apparel www.BuddhiWear.com

It has great ideas that I use for my kids class. She also has two cds that are perfect for a kids yoga class. If you get a chance her Radiant Child program is wonderful. As for time mine is 1 hour however I think that is too long and would suggest more like 45 minutes or 30 minutes. Also check out Shakta's website she has lots of teaching guides to help with kids http://www.childrensyoga.com/ Sat Nam Sohan Kaur www.kundaliniteacher.com >
