Diet for gallbladder stones?

Sat Nam,

My husband just found he has gallbladder stones and wants to try

alternatives before surgery, so hopefully he won't need it. Besides

working on a subtle level, with the grace of Guru Ram Das and

meditating on RA MA DA SA, does anybody know a monodiet prescribed for

this type of condition that could be useful?

Blessings.

>Dr. Bieler (I may have the spelling wrong) wrote books back in the

sixties on this subject. He was ahead of his time. One was called Food

Is Your Best Medicine. He successfully treated people with medical

conditions using food. He often prescribed mono diets and rest. One of

his most famous was a combination of zucchini, parsley and green beans.

The body would then have energy to heal itself. Another one he used was

potato broth.

I wish you and your husband the best...

Sat Nam! It is beautiful that you and your husband are ready to explore non-invasive healing as opposed to swift, hasty surgery. The Hulda Clark gallbladder cleanse is a really cool protocol.. You can google it.. You basically have the salad dressing minus the salad and not much else for a weekend.. Not difficult to do, and can be repeated several times in intervals of about 1 - 2 weeks. It releases massive amounts of gall stones and gravel (one takes some diluted epsom salts beforehand to dilate the bile ducts..) To be followed with a parasite cleanse as the stones are often the sites that host parasites (charming, isn't it?) Similar nutrition like kidney cleanse - high green to alkalise the body.. Best wishes, Pritam Hari Kaur, Johannesburg

Incidentally, the afore mentioned gallbladder cleanse can be practiced sporadically by anybody and everybody just as a good thing for health, for lightening and brightening, with then ensuing parasite cleanse, but if one has gall stones that cause discomfort and pain its the first health regime that comes to mind!! How blessed we are to have simple naturopathic protocols available! Sat Nam, Pritam Hari Kaur

In Back To Eden

by Jethro Kloss there is a recommendation for expelling gall stones.  My

understanding is that Yogi Bhajan slightly modified that procedure. There are

similar recommendations from a number of folks.   I have a friend, with severe

symptoms,  who was told he would need to have his gall bladder removed; he

followed a similar protocol and has had no problems since (still with his gall

bladder).  I myself did this protocol (no symptoms related to gall bladder; I

was just curious) 30 years (or so) ago and immediately passed several (what

appeared to be) gall stones.  It was a fascinating experience.  The protocol I

followed (Jethro Kloss’s procedure as modified by Yogi Bhajan –

second hand information) is as follows:  First, clear the digestive tract by

fasting for several days on a juice ( I did 4-5 days of diluted apple juice).

Then drink 4 ounces of lemon juice combined with 4 ounces of olive oil.  Immediately,

lie on your right side, with pillows elevating the pelvis/hips and  the right knee

held at the chest (I tied it there) for 2 ½ hours (this is the modification; JK’s

recommendation was for a shorter period of time.)  At the end of the 2 & 1/2

hours, you will want to use the bathroom.

Obviously, I am not a medical doctor and I am not making a

recommendation to anyone. I am simply sharing my experience.

Sat Nam Ji Kalyan Kaur,

I have had gall bladder problems. The way I approached it was:

Acupuncture (He was able to tell me that I did not need surgery)

Diet

I did check with an allopathic MD that my husband sees and likes. It was very interesting. When I told her I was not interested in surgery, she asked why I was there. Information was the reply. She mentioned medication, which I cannot recall at this time.

My statement was to her, so, if someone comes in complaining about gall bladder pain, your answer is surgery. Her answer was yes.

While I do believe in allopathic medicine, I truly feel we need to be very informed in order to make decisions.

Good luck and God speed in your healing process.
