To answer the post about women past menopause and the Amrit Vela, I am one of those who still gets up as close to it as possible without taking a nap more than once every month or so. My job often has me working till 11:00 pm or so and if I can't get up at the prescribed 4 am I find plenty of precious stillness at 5:30 and choose a shorter set to do if I slip back to that hour. Almost never using an alarm clock I try to let the body tell me when it's time to get up, and still hang with the Aquarian sadhana chants requiring an hour. It may seem a bit reverse order but I find joy in listening to Jap Ji after my hookum while going to work in the studio, Since beginning Kundalini Yoga in 2000 I went from 7 hours of sleep to 5, but I take a green super food maybe this would be helpful for you to boost energy.
