Greetings:A few weeks ago I included this question below along with another question about breath. Many people very kindly answered the second question about breath, but I am still not sure how to breath during Sat Kriya and Kirtan Kriya. My original post was: Most of my KY instructors have said 'let the breath come naturally' with Sat Kriya and Sa-Ta-Na-Ma, but I find I struggle with the breath. I feel as if I am suffocating when I do these kriyas. Makes me wonder if I suffocated in a past life....Blessings

had the same problem, and seemed to have the same answer from the

forum. It depends on how long youve done the kriya. After a while of

concentrating it becomes almost automatic, and you can even observe

your body as it breaths. However, just like all said, you must get

familiar with the way you breathe, and dont make it a task, but more

like something that just happens. It helped me inhale after the sat

and exhale after the nam, but it may vary. Breaths are normally short

at sat kriya,. but once u master breath awareness in one kriya it

becomes easier in others

I feel as if I am suffocating when I do these kriyas. Makes me wonder

if I suffocated in a past life....
