Guest guest
Sat Nam Friends, I know a woman who has had difficulty sleeping at night due to restless leg syndrome. Is anyone familiar with this problem - or know of any homeopathic remedies or yoga sets that could help? Blessings. Abinashi

Guest guest
Waheguru ji ki fateh, I am not aware of any Homeopathic or Ayurvedic medicines for restless legs. But Quinine Sulphate 300mg before bed is supposed to have a good effect. Baljinder Singh
Guest guest
My 86 year old mother has this and gets some relief from cold soaks of the feet (cold showers should help), massages with Narayan oil, and she take Requip, a prescription drug. I don't know if diet could help, but i always recommend cuttingout sugar, caffeine, meat, and adding lots of Turmeric, and some yoga to life to help keep these troubles away. Good luck to your friend Guru Sangat Kaur, VA
Guest guest
For restless leg syndrome we recommend the following exercises and meditation: On back feet flat, knees bent, hips up, arms stretched along the floor beneath you, fingers interlaced: Breath of Fire 1-3 minutes. This will help to increase circulation in the extremities and stimulate peripheral nerves. We also recommend Archer Pose, and the variation of Tree Pose which is on our Journey through the Chakras DVD. In addition, Shabd Kriya practiced before bed 11-31 minutes will make a big difference. This entails siting with the hands in the lap, one in the other, palms facing up, and inhaling in 4 strokes thinking Sa Ta Na Ma, holding the breath, thinking Sa Ta Na Ma 4 times, exhaling in 2 strokes thinking Wah Hay Guru. Eyes are 1/10th. It is also important to avoid caffeine, chocolate, refined sugar, and chemical preservatives. Giinger tea can be very helpful. Women with this condition should have their iron levels checked and consider taking Floravital herbal Iron supplement if needed. Guest guest
Hi I just came across this restless leg syndrome post. These symptoms sound similar to those experienced with anaemia. I strongly suggest that she gets a blood test.
