Guest guest
I am fairly new to the practical side of Kundalini Yoga and seeking some advice. I am currently practicing a sort of 'general' physical Kundalini Yoga routine which is about 45 minutes long. Later in the day I also do Subagh Kriya. What is your average morning routine and what does it consist of? I don't really know any Kundalini practitioners, and I'm currently unable to attend Kundalini Yoga classes in my city (London UK) due to work commitments. Hence why I've joined this board. One 'problem' of mine is, if I get up early then I get extremely tired later that day (normally round lunch time and onwards) and practically can't function let alone think due to tiredness. Would regular Kundalini practice take care of that? Enjoy your weekend. Thanks
Guest guest
>Hello, When I first began taking Kundalini Yoga classes I also became very tired. What helped me wss to practice the Beginner sets, and stick with the same one for a while. That way your body can adjust. Also, rather than doing 108 repetitions, start with 26, build up to 54, and then, if you feel strong and ready try 108. If you take your time, and the time gradually, you make it easier on your energetic body. Are you eating a good breakfast before work? Maybe you need protein. Do you eat a nourishing lunch? Since I've started practicing KY I find that I need very clean, well cared for surroundings both at work and at home. Clearing clutter energizes me. Many of my students end up changing careers after they start KY. Does your job fulfill and inspire you? Are you working with positive, like minded people? Does it use your talents and pay you what you're worth? Ultimately I think the KY will recharge you and give your a surge of energy. There are some clearing out proccesses that usually happen first.
