Guest guest
Satnaam, I am new to Kundalini- yoga but i used to go thru this website and have tried few of the online trainings. Its really amazing and I would like to thank Yogi bhajan and all his sewak for this good work. I am in my early 40's and currently writting from work ( 2.10 am ) in Ireland. I am having pain in my left eye and at times its really hurtful. Can anyone help?? I think, i have high blood pressure and i have tried Yogi bhajan's remedy - celery to reduced the blood level and carrot to increased the blood level. Am i right!!! i will be seeing the doctor in the morning. please advise for time being what to do. Satnaam Jernail singh
Guest guest
Sat Nam I think you should go ahead and see the doc. If it is high blood pressure in the eye (glaucoma precursor), some people have been helped by eating blueberries. Check Google for studies done on this. Eat an alkaline diet and not many heavy foods. Do meditations for stress. There are yoga sets for the eyes. Cold showers help. Do sets with shoulderstand and plough and shouldershrugs, etc. GuruBandhu Kundalini-Yoga , " Jernail Sue " <dakisram wrote: > > > Satnaam, > > I am new to Kundalini- yoga but i used to go thru this website and have > tried few of the online trainings. Guest guest
alternative nostril breathing has helped in reducing BP for me, as well as left nostril breathing. Also 30 seconds inhale, 30 exhale, this has relaxed me as well. Start small with 15 seconds and work your way up, otherwise you may raise your BP in a body's effort to compensate for the lack of oxyghen. But if you are new, you will definitely have to start small, as building lung capacity does not happen overnight.
