Guest guest
I am in a very sad place in my life and just need advice in which kriya's or mantra's would be suitable for me. My finances have reached rock bottom, I have nobody to turn to. No friends, no family. I am running very low on work. I have lost my self confidence as I can't afford cosmetic dentistry. I read about something called subag kriya and I'm doing it for 11 minutes (each exercise), it is very tough on the arms and shoulders but I'm doing my best. I feel very, very alone. Always having to deal with everything on my own. Sometimes a hug would be nice, or someone offering me their help. Some days I can feel my heart crying. Guest guest
Dear KD, Keep up and you will be kept up. Yogi Bhajan Check out dental schools in your area for dental work by a resident dentist or student supervised by a Master. Make sure that you aren't going without the basics: food (read Adele Puhn's book : 5 Day Miracle Diet), clean water, sleep and good KY/meditation practice. Avoid sugar, stimulants, drugs/alcohol and negative people (that includes family). Go to the country and inhale deeply. Sit quietly. Count your blessings. Help someone less fortunate than yourself. Ask your health food store advisor which B vitamin to take for your need. DON'T SAY NEGATIVE THINGS TO YOURSELF. Hear the program you are giving yourself. If you don't like it, just change the station. Satnam. Guest guest
Sat Nam K.D., When my finances hit bottom and I could only pay half my bills, I countered by paying full Dasvandh (tithing) on my last full month's income, promising the universe that if it came back to me ten times, totally covering me, I would pay full Dasvandh every month for the rest of my life. My most recent Dasvandh " return " was to be $4000. Instead of receiving it all in the form of money (which was not necessary) it came to me through being able to attend the recent yatra to Hazur Sahib and the profound spiritual blessings and revelations I experienced there. Regarding loneliness, Yogiji told me that if I did Sat Kriya every day I would never feel alone, I would never be alone. Although I live alone, his words have come true. The Gurus are all with me, helping with the book Yogiji gave me on the deeper, yogic meaning of Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Sat Kriya is amazing. If you do it with sincerity, heart and divine reach it will totally transform your life. Guest guest
Sat Nam Dear K.D., You are not alone, ever, no matter how alone you feel. I hear your heart's cry as do many. You are wise to ask for support. Allow the sweetness of your own compassionate heart to be aware of the same sweetness in the hearts of others who may also be crying at this time. Allow that to grow. Keep up with your sadhana, pray, meditate, love. God is. Guru Gopal Kaur
Guest guest
I find it interesting that while you are asking for help, you have blocked yourself from receiving emails. Personal emails is how a lot of people will offer help to you. My sugestions are: Kirtan Kriya, which can be found on this page: http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/page/Kundalini+Yoga+Mantras+H+-+K I have used Kirtan Kriya very successfuly for depression and other things as well, in fact, I most likely will use it the rest of my life right before I go to sleep because it smooths everything out and I get the best sleep. You do not have to use it b-4 bedtime, use it anytime during the day. I have. I also suggest this page listing prosperity mantras: http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/page/Kundalini+Yoga+PROSPERITY++Mantras I can't find it now, but on this , someone is doing a Prosperity mantra for 3 min a day and getting results, she is using this one:http://www.dasvandh.org/2008ProsMed.htm SODARSHAN CHAKRA KRIYA is something to be looked at: http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/page/Kundalini+Yoga+Mantras+R+-+S And, while this method is not Kundalini Yoga, it really works and I have been using it since 2005, daily. EFT is a powerful new discovery that combines two well established sciences so you can benefit from both at the same time: 1. Mind Body Medicine 2. Acupuncture (this new version does not require needles--anyone can do it). Try it yourself by downloading the EFT Manual for free. It gives you all the basics and allows you to test drive EFT on your own issues (although at a beginner's level). http://www.emofree.com/ One of the best thing about EFT is it takes only 3 min to do, just tapping with the fingers on the face, body and fingers again. You can use it on anything, lack of friends, depression, colds, emotions. Read the exhaustive list of actual cases on the EMO website. These are written by clients, therapists and physicians and allow you to see EFT's possibilities through the eyes of those that have already been there. Note the wide variety of successes. " Try it on everything. " Blessings, Sat Avtar Kaur
Guest guest
Please keep doing your meditation....even when you think it's pointless or too hard, especially when you think it's too hard...and try and take some Kundalini Yoga classes if you can,the energy in a class can really uplift you,KY has helped my depression soooooo much,I'm like a differant person.I also have lot's of financial problem's and one thing I found that really help's me keep it all in perspective is every day to write down something I'm grateful for,it could be just a cup of tea,or warm sock's,or a roof over your head...sometimes at my lowest it was really, really hard to think of something but I just forced myself ....and there was alway's something...., also,Kirtan Kriya is a wonderful healing and uplifting mantra,I have done it before going to sleep and found it very soothing, I hope you find some helpful info here and you really are not alone....so many people feel the way you do.....we are all in this together.... Guest guest
Sat Nam Dear KD, My heart and healing intentions are with you during this time. Keep your heart open to your Godliness and peace. There are several meditations focusing on your Godliness and another kriya on Self Reliance and Meditation. Here is one of the meditations focusing on your Godliness especially during times of struggle, Meditation to Awaken the Dormant Power Within (on 3HO.org) KD, just do what you can here - start slowly with the times. Your intention is the most important factor. Listen to your heart. Self Reliance and Meditation Kriya comes from one of the manuals "Transition from A Heart-Centered World" or "Relax and Renew". I have been doing this kriya for several years and it has brought me stability during dark times especially when life is changing... Again breakdown the times to what you are able to do. You may also practice just healing yourself and deep intention - connect with your heart and God and being still during your layout may bring an abundance of calmness in your day-to-day processes. Call out to God for whatever pain you are feeling just before beginning your sadnana to begin an intention and prayer for the day. Continue to look for support in creative ways in your environment while nurturing your heart during this process of grief you are experiencing. If you are open to finding part-time work in whatever area you might be able to fit while awaiting for income to flow from your main occupation this might help also fill the gap for financial support. Look into local community job support/social services and also federal assistance and see what aid you are eligible for. Sat Nam Dear Soul and may God always Bless and Guide you in this life...
