Guest guest
Sat Nam dear group, I just wanted to share with you a funny story of one day without sadhana. It has been one week since my boyfriend and I moved together and he accidentally turned off my alarm when it rang for Sadhana. I didnt wake up, and we both woke up with his alarm at 7 am. I was so sad that I had missed my sadhana (I naturally have been keeping it up for few years now) but then I started doing the things that needed to be done: breakfast, tea, and getting lunch ready for my partner. I realised how horribly it is life without sadhana! The body, mind (and let alone spirit!) do not wake up until about an hour after you really got out of bed. Then without the love and kindness of prayer (for example japji), the slow waking time under the warmth of prayer, then the energizing kriya (I specially love hard and strong kriyas for sadhana) and at the end the meditation, to prepare for the day, without these (which I think its a perfect combination of rhythm, time and variety), then I felt like my heart was taken out of my body and it was beating so fast, trying to understand what was happening, when I was only preparing breakfast I got an insight of what life is without sadhana, and I dont really want to go back to that pace and outside-ness. Warm greetings to all of you, keep up with your sadhana and God bless you!Sukhdev KaurEstonia/Mexico-- " It's not the life that you live, it's the courage that you bring to it. " ~Yogi Bhajan.
