Guest guest
Sukhdev, I wanted to share my discovery that Ishnaan is perhaps an equally, if not more important part of the day. First of all... Congrats on your years of EMS. I'm not there yet, even if I do find time for Sadhana each day. I recently went a few consecutive days here and there without my Ishnaan and stretch pose in the morning, and I didn't think much of it... Plus the cold water in NYC has gotten so ridiculously icy... I sorta gave myself a little break from it. But I did begin to have a couple breakdowns in old habits, old thoughts, old routines that I had thought I had conquered, (even though I was doing all my exercises and meditations as before) and I was curious to as to why... Until I resumed my cold shower this morning and I felt that entire cellular vibrancy coursing through my body, that it dawned on me how vital a cold shower is, and how powerful its effects are. I think of Ishnaan just like a Sadhana... 40 days, 90 days, 120 days... 1000 days... Keep count. Do it consistently and do it forever... Even just 1 minute in really cold water if you really want to experience a vital change and vibrancy in your whole being (Ideally 3 minutes up to 31 minutes max). It's a day changing " meditation " that I feel is a vital part of every Kundalini practice. (Plus, I always chant some mantras with it... Whatever is in my head that morning... From Wha Hey Guru/Jio to RakheRakanahar) Back on the ice train... Truly Yours, Raja Filip (Roger Filip) --- Sukhdev Lilia Del Rio > Sat Nam dear group, > I just wanted to share with you a funny story of one day without sadhana..... I got an insight of what life is without sadhana, and > I dont really want to go back to that pace and outside-ness.
