Guest guest
Dear Everyone, I have been concerned for my son who is twenty two and after a visit to the cardiologist, it was found his heart is hyper sensitive to adrenaline. He takes medication in the form of metoprolol daily and runs and works out etc. He is in general good health, so am a bit surprised why he would have this. I was going to tell him to stay off caffein, alcohol of any kind and have good diet. He does eat meat. Also I was going to suggest he does quiet meditation for a few minutes a day, which he was open to doing. I dont like to come across to him as 'do this, dont do that'..but am I making good suggestions for his condition. Does anyone have experience with this condition with other people and know more? OR can suggest specific things. I am concerned for his health very much. Sat Nam to all.
Guest guest
Sat Nam, At 59 i found myself with alarmingly high blood pressure. Two suggestions from this list that were helpful: Sitali Pranayam, inhaling thur U shaped tongue mouth, exhaling thru nose, no eye focus given. Cucumber juice--glad i did not give away my champion juicer 6 months ago. I also stopped lifting weights and went back to swimming. i also have gone car less which means more biking. be aware that chocolate has a lot of caffiene as does green tea and soft drinks. possilbe supplements, but please talk to someone who know more than i: fish oil capsules, enzyme co-Q10, combo of calcium/magnesium, flax meal or psyillium seed if he's eating meat, pineapple/papaya enzymes, available cheap at trader joe's to aid digestion-- i am out of town and don't have my books but i know there are kriyas for the adrenal glands. hopefully someone on the list will send you some kriyas good health to your son and you, Ram Das (John) In Kundalini-Yoga , " leilaghani " <leilaghani wrote: > > Dear Everyone, > > I have been concerned for my son who is twenty two and after a visit > to the cardiologist, it was found his heart is hyper sensitive to > adrenaline.
