Guest guest
Sat Nam, Since you did not say where in NY, your best bet is to go to 3ho.org and click on the Teacher directory and search in your state. If you are in NYC, two studios are Kundalini Yoga East, (www.kundaliniyogaeast.com) and Golden Bridge Yoga NYC (www.goldenbridgeyoganyc.com) Tej Kundalini-Yoga , zeph_ceo <no_reply wrote: > > Hello > I am new here and i am interested in learning Kundalini Yoga. Guest guest
As a teacher trainer at Kundalini Yoga East, (http://www.kundaliniyogaeast) I'm partial to this NYC school. They also have a fully carpeted room on the 6th floor (secluded from NYC noise), with a large open space and great vibe. GoldenBridge is a little more " Soho " vibe, sometimes more crowded, and a bit more commercial, but equally as good in all other senses as far as the yoga goes, with great teachers too. I'd suggest trying both out and seeing which fits your style... I have friends that go to both studios, but usually, depending on your personality and the way that you vibe with teachers, you will gravitate towards one or the other for most of your classes. There's also a great little hidden gem of a studio in Brooklyn called KundaliniYogaParkSlope (http://www.kundaliniyogaparkslope.com/) run by Sat Jagat Singh and his wife. If you want to experience KYE tonight (Thursday) Sat Jivan Kaur is teaching... and she's really one of the awesome ones! Personal chef to Yogi Bhajan for years... here's her bio: http://www.kundaliniyogaeast.com/index.php/the_center/directors/ It's across the street from Paragon sports on 873 Broadway just north of Union Square. (Suite 614: Buzzer #0037)! Do come by at 6:15 if you like! Blessings. Sat Nam, Filip
