Guest guest
Does anyone have experience with doing a banana fast? I've heard different versions of it and would like to try it myself. sat nam, -Baba Singh
Guest guest
buy the book food as medicine, it shows you how to do it. I once attempted to start it, but couldn't continue due to lack of resorces. I have heard that you have to try a juice fast before a banana fast. and that after a banana fast it is recommended to try a monodiet such as the mung beans and rice diet. Guest guest
Sat Nam Ji - I have. I suggest you cleanse your liver with a few days of beets first, then be sure and dress warmly as the calorie content is not what you will have been used to. Allow extra time for relaxation, sleeping, meditation. Have fun! Blessings abounding... Kundalini-Yoga , " Baba " <baba_sf wrote: > > Does anyone have experience with doing a banana fast? Guest guest
Sat Nam, Check with sat santokh satsantokh.com i havee his direct email somewhere. i thnk he;s done both a 30 day banana fast and a 30 day brocculi fast. he lives in san leandro, CA and is most likely in thee phone book i think the number is 510-895-2913 or 2915. i;m in Buenos Aires so i don;t have all my info. Good luck. I have done a few 10 day fasts of miso soup and lemon juice. i suggest you do it in warm or hot weather. I had to break one when i lived in an unheated artist-musician warehouse during Feb in berkeley because i got very sick. However in the hot weather you will feel totally invigorated and amazing. My best one was summer 79 in Boston, it was over 90 every day and i ran 10 miles every day of the 10--i was flying¡ i was 30 then. good luck , try it, youñll lile it, Ram Das very important to bbreak the fast lightly, i suggest apple sauce as your first meal out, and start eating lightly before starting it and like gurfathasingh said , dress warm. i personally would not do it if you like in a place where it;s cold in the winter. Guest guest
Is this the one where you chew 1 Cardamon seed with 3 Bananas, 3x per day? I heard that one is essential for ex-pot smokers. Apparently, YogiJi said that a pot smokers' brain will always be polluted even years after they quit, unless they do this 3 day diet/fast to get the residual deposits out. I guess that puts it 'high' on my list of fast priorities. -Filip Kundalini-Yoga , " gurufathasingh " <gurufathasingh wrote: > > Sat Nam Ji - > > I have.
