Guest guest
Sat Nam, I'd be happy to get suggestions on good music/sounds to play during the long relaxation concluding the yoga set. I actually do lunch yoga at big place where aerobics and things is happening in room next to where we are... I have tried some tibetan bowls and that works ok but I need other things for variation. Many thanks Jan-Erik
Guest guest
Singh Kaur, Crimson Series, Vol. 1 is my all time favorite (and most of my students) for long relaxation. Jagatjeet Kaur Barbara L. Coxblcox
Guest guest
Ah... Jagatjeet beat me to it. Yes, Crimson Series v1 is great... One of my teachers just listens to Track 1 24/7, pretty much exclusively: Guru Ram Das (For Protection) - 38Minutes. It just surrounds him as part of his aura. And (I could be mistaken here) there's also another version called " Guru Ram Das (For Healing) " which is basically the same thing, with a slightly different tone... (But I have to check my home computer for this and see who sings it - I swear I saw it, but they could just be the same thing.) Another of my favorites is pure tamboura music... Specifically two versions... One is available as an instant download from Amazon, and is totally worth is... it's 1hour 10min long. http://www.amazon.com/Tamboura/dp/B001D5D774 This is the purest tamboura sound available. There's a CD version and an instant download. I'd say get the MP3 Instant Download version... it's just $8.99 vs the $13.99 for the CD to be sent to you, which you don't need because it's just one track, and the CD art isn't that spectacular. Whichever you chose, it's worth it... But [warning] don't get any of the $.99 cent tamboura versions from Amazon, as they are ALL pretty bad. Then if you want a tiny more variation than that, one step up is the double CD of Harish Johari's called Attunements for Dawn & Dusk, which is also available at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Attunements-Dawn-Dusk-Enhance-Meditation/dp/0892818530 Also one of my favorites, because it gives you 4 slightly different tones of Tamboura sounds depending on if your meditation is at Dawn, Morning, Dusk, or Evening... and each track is about 31 minutes each. And it's on sale right now for only $16.50, which is a really good price (I paid $25) for a double CD set of such quality. Both of those should set you free during deep relax or meditation like " no bodies " business. Enjoy! There are 10, and 31 minute versions of " Guru Ram Das (for Healing) " by Snatam Kaur (from the album Shanti) which is slightly different than the Crimson series one. -RajaFilips
