Guest guest
Sat nam friends, In 2003 I self-published a children's book I wrote that was inspired by Kundalini yoga (though it doesn't overtly contain yoga) and the concept of infinity. It's my book for which I unblocked my writer's block by doing the set for Creativity in Physical Wisdom. I love that set and highly recommend it by the way! The themes of the book are about sharing, cooperation, and accepting those who are new and different. Here's the basic plot and a subtle underlying yogic theme: The main character, the Infinipede, wanders into a village and the initial reaction by the townspeople is fear and resistance. They try many silly things in vain to get rid of the creature. ( " What you resist persists " ). At a town meeting, it is a little girl, Sally McGlow, who stands up and suggests that it may not be a problem at all and decides to meet the creature. (She represents opening your heart and being with the perceived problem, allowing it to shift). Sally's approach works, but I won't spoil the ending for you... Check out my web site www.infinipede.com for details. I just thought I'd share this gift idea with you.
