Guest guest
sat naam, We all *know* there is nothing evenly remotely comparable to amrit vela Sadhana on the spiritual path. Ask for Guru Raam Daas's help to wake you up (Guru Raam Daas is up at that time (and at all times) anyways, so it's not a big deal for Guru Raam Daas I went through several years of missing-sadhana-guilt - I would do amrit vela sadhana for a few weeks and then miss it for a few months. In addition to feeling lousy because of missing that great amrit vela energy, I would feel guilty about it too, so would have a miserable few months before hitting rock-bottom and bouncing up again for a few weeks. Finally, I have come up with a solution that works for me - whenever my eyes open at night - whether it be midnight, 2am or 3am - I sit up, meditate in bed, take a shower, do sadhana and go back to sleep. This works because even if I am tired when my eyes open, I know I can make up for the sleep AND the sleep after sadhana is quite good. I personally don't think we should be too hung up on 4am - from personal experience, as long as it's before 5am (for me somehow that's the magic number), my sadhana is quite good. In fact the earlier it is (assuming my body is well rested - ie about 3 hours of sleep), the better it is. The above is just my experience and I just wanted to share it - it might (or might not) work for anybody else. take care and good luck tomorrow morning... waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru....... Guest guest
I have had many fantastic experiences at different times, some in the Amrit Vela. I think that's a peak time to practice but no guarantee of God's grace, which for me happens at any time. Which is why we shouldn't sweat it, but if you are, don't dismiss it. It's difficult to deal with conflicting aspects of ourselves. Your human so its ok.
