Guest guest
Below are some grounding exercises I've found helpful. Any sets for the first chakra will help. Wear a magnetite bracelet or anklet. I could offer you a healing retreat if you'd like to do deeper work around this. Best of luck, Jagat Kaur Grounding Exercises Walk around a little to get a feel for how your feet contact the ground. The breathing practice is consistent through the first three exercises: Inhale for four heartbeats. Hold for four heartbeats. Exhale for four heartbeats. Hold the breath out for four heartbeats. Do exercises 1 - 4 10 times. Do exercise 5 for 5 minutes. 1. Inhale as you rise onto your toes. Hold the breath standing on your toes. Exhale lowering down to stand on your feet. Hold the breath out standing there. 2. Inhale as you press the legs apart (feet stay put). Hold the breath, holding the legs pressed apart. Exhale legs back. Hold the breath out, standing normally. 3. Inhale as you press the legs toward one another. Hold the breath, holding the legs pressed toward one another. Exhale the legs back to normal. Hold the breath out, standing normally. 4. Imagine that your essence has become diffused out of your body and it's time to reclaim it and put it back where it belongs. As you inhale, reach your arms out and up and gather some of that dispersed energy. As you exhale, press it down into and through your body. 5. Stand and breathe normally. Send roots from the soles of your feet deep down into the earth. Imagine drawing up earth magnetism and energy through these roots into your legs and body. Send anything you don't need from your body back down into the earth with your exhale. Each breath is an energy exchange between you and the earth. Feel the connection between you and the earth growing solid and strong. Feel the energy from the earth rising into you, and your energy descending. After a while, the rising and falling don't need to be connected with the breath, but can be concurrent. Play with the energies. Feel the rootedness of your feet and legs. Then walk around again and compare this to how you felt before you did these exercises. www.heartandwings.net www.abbeanderson.com
