Guest guest
Sat Nam dear Sanghat, The 1000 day global meditation which starts 14th february will end on 11.11.2011 My mind is a bit confused whether the actual day of beginning of the Aquarian age is 11.11.2011, 21.11.2011 or is it actually 2012? It might be that all these dates are correct (Since it is a transition), but my question is, why was the meditation decided to end in 11.11.2011? Does anybody have more clarification about all these dates? Thank you for your mind-clearing answers. Guest guest
There is no agreement among astronomers or astrologers as to the 'exact' date of entry into the Aquarian Age. This is due to such things as 'precession' of the Earth, ill-defined boundaries of the constellations, and the movement of the stars themselves. For a lot of background on this issue, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Aquarius Yogi Bhajan discerned the date to be November 11, 2011 (not 2012 as was printed in some Kundalini texts). Guest guest
Just to add, according to Gurmukh's webcast on the Golden Bridge newsletter sent this morning, the day Yogi Bhajan said was the beginning of the Age of Aquarius is at 11:30am (PST), on November 11, 2011. Her post is actually about the 1000-day meditation beginning to lead up to November 11, 2001. Here's the link to share, if you are not already on the mailing list, or don't visit the Golden Bridge website: http://www.goldenbridgeyoga.com/ Kundalini-Yoga , " Larry Beck " <haridev wrote: > > There is no agreement among astronomers or astrologers as to > the 'exact' date of entry into the Aquarian Age. Guest guest
Thanks for all the clarifications and the links, I found them all added to my understanding. In relation to Yogi Bhajan, anytime a Master leaves his or her body there is a transition period where their " teachings " are " codified " and " financially " supported for the coming generations. This transition is very important so that the teaching are " libraried " originally and " accessible " originally. If you have not already done so consider supporting the Library of Teachings so that everyone can see and hear Yogi Bhajans words directly and decide for themselves. Also be aware of the difference in " pure/unedited " and " interpretatative " publications/video. They both add to the body of knowledge and the ability of people to experience, yet...I am not clear on this, so I will leave my thought open. For the current thread on date for Age of Aquarius, I found Yogi Bhajan refer to Age of Aquarius..from the Master Touch, Assisi Lectures, April 21, 1997. In two separate sections of the lecture I pulled these quotes. " On the 11th of November 1991, the Age of Pisces ended, and the Age of Aquarius started. In between we have actually twenty-one years of the cusps, during which time you will find change. The majority of people will go beserk. " ... " You cannot say, " in God We Trust " , that was Piscean. Now (in the Age of Aquarius) you have to say " in God I Dwell. " Sat Ganesha " participate, share, and contribute "
