Guest guest
Hi Julie, I have been doing Kundalini yoga for a little over 2 years. Your post reminded me of Guru Rattana’s class on manifesting and being grounded in our lower chakras. She said something like, “I was meditating for 8 hours a day, writing books, and still poor financially.” And then she started to do more activities to get physically grounded and not merely connecting upwards. The result was a more rewarding financial life, “If the person is not home the post man cannot deliver.” (Forgive me Guru Rattana if I misquote you – it’s been a while since that lesson on line). My own experience is similar: I am in private practice as a bodyworker and workshop presenter and spent 2 futile years, in a new city, meditating my butt off and wondering why my marketing was not paying off? For the past 6 months I have been getting more grounded with yoga sets, first chakra activities, and the guidance of my teacher and the result is nothing short of amazing. Maybe I will not file for bankruptcy after all. I share this as you are wanting badly to get to the training immersion. I want to go to however my Kundalini yoga practice now seems to be further development and maintenance of the newly found root I have through my private practice. You know the saying, “Take your yoga practice to your day and life.” I have read many stories of couples at the end of their financial rope who do make it through and get back kn their feet financially and then some. My prayers and thoughts to you in your process. Sat nam, Marty in Charlotte " We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
