100 Day Meditation

Sat Nam Everyone,

 

I had to smile when I saw the version of Sat Siri that YB chose for

the 1000 Day Meditation. If I had to choose one version of any mantra

that is my least favorite, it is this one. I have always disliked the

Aquarian March by Nirinjan. The marching tempo grates on me in very

unpleasant ways...it feels so militaristic. 1000 Days of this? Oh boy....

 

Could someone explain the significance of looking at the mantra

printed on the paper? In all truth, this meditation does not resonate

with me at all. Sat Siri, however, is one of my favorite mantras.

I'd definitely have to agree... Not my favorite mantra version. Was

'clicked off' from being on my playlist at the very first time I heard it.

 

But, as I was told, it was specifically asked for by Yogi Bhajan to be

like a marching song with a strong beat that would drive you and keep

you up. So, i'm gonna give it another chance...

 

Since we are Saint Soldiers marching into the Aquarian age... It's

fitting, and a good challenge to deal with my issues with the song

too...
