Guest guest
I was saddened to see that India with all its purported respect towards cows features worst in the trade of cows' hides for leather manufacturing.. The EARTHLINGS movie shows painful footage of cows being taken to slaughter. They cannot be killed within the borders of India and are treated so carelessly and cruelly on their way to where they can be killed. A poignant line in that movie: As people, we do not love animals enough - and too much! This line applies to any relationship that lacks respect, makes assumptions or is patronising.. Guest guest
Sat nam I belong to an Ayurvedic group. One vaidya who is very knowing swears by it. It is called Panch Gavya. Panch is 5 for the 5 parts of cow excretions. They are the dung, urine, ghee, milk and curd (yogurt or panir). According to him, since cows have such a refined digestive system, the urine has some gold in it. He values it more highly than auto urine therapy. The urine is the most often used. They often mix it with herbs. GuruBandhu Kundalini-Yoga , gmustuk wrote: > > Ok, when I heard this headline in the news from Guruka Singh I was sure it > was some type of bogus joke story.
