Guest guest
Come join us for a community supported Kicharee/herbal spring detox/cleanse http://aquarianpilgrims.ning.comspringkichareecleanse Essentially what this cleanse consists of is this: We begin by drinking plenty (at least 8 glasses) of fresh filtered spring or well water (ideally) every day, and begin eating kicharee now at least once or twice a week, slowly building to 5-7 times a week. For those of us who are not used to eating cleansing foods this may be a little traumatic on the digestive system (loose stools) so start slow. Follow your bodies wisdom and be kind to your self. This cleanse should be gentle and subtle so no need for self torture. At some point in the next month or two we will do an entire week of kicharee for every meal, combined with an herbal detox program that can be purchased at any health food store (will post details soon) and last but not least we will purge it all out with a good dose of castor oil (optional) for those of us who feel strong enough to handle it. Cleansing can be a blissful and restorative process for many. It can also be a traumatic and painful event for others depending on the state of health you begin with. It can also be an emotional time as residues of hormones from past emotional states are passed through the system on their way out of your life. The community support of a group is helpful so that we can share the ups and downs of this experience together and uplift each other and hold each other accountable to keep up. One thing that undeniably true, just as the spring thaw brings snow run off that washes away the decay of winter. So It is with the natural rhythms of the body mind and spirit. So join us for the benefit of your health and that of our community.
