Guest guest
Here is a fine response of what I am talking about...... Harbhajan Kaur Khalsa to me show details 12:43 PM (4 hours ago) Reply Wow - you spent one day looking for something and didn't get it, and have already formed a personal judgment about that? Try spending 3 days in a tree as a test from your teacher, remaining confident in the training, and avoiding the temptation to pass personal judgment against your teacher. It is said, " When you are ready, a teacher will come. " Most people who sincerely want to learn from a teacher approach with humility and an offering. If you come with a passive, defended attitude seeking immediate gratification on your own terms, don't be surprised if your sincerity is doubted and you are not given the attention you seek. My relpy......... Wow Harbhajan, you really are the SAS of spirituality arnt you!? My God three days in a tree is NOTHING compared to some of what I have been through, try several hours of sexual and physical abuse almost resulting in death, as a child by a stranger, try 8months in prison for something I wasnt gulity of, try a lifetime of severe mental illness starting as a child. This is just a small taster also. What you think the East and India is so great, and that the Westen way and our freedoms so abhorant. Much of India is filthy, corrupt and degenerate, most people are slaves to the higher castes. Your approach is typical of the ignorant attitude of 'East is best'. You don't know anything, you think if we were more like India everything would be okay, you forget you would probably be homeless and on the streets, let alone typing into a computer!! You forget the polarities Yin/Yang White/Black yes East/West! Both are needed for balance. It is your attitude and silly name that makes most Western reasonable people take off as soon as they hear of you. And you are the new Aquarian age!!!!!!! Dont make me laugh, you would nt know humbleness if it fell off the tree and bit you, Sincerly, Paul
Guest guest
Dear Paul, I think that Harbhajan is saying that it is all about perspective. I could be wrong, but that appears to be the case. One's perspective judgement on another's experience is judgemental without discussion. (Plus, you have no idea what others may have experienced.) KY is a discusssion group. Nobody is saying your perspective or experience is not valid. Nor is anyone discounting the severity of your experience. Harbhajan just expressed an opinion that is also valid, because it is her opinion. Your opinion and experience are uniquely yours and also valid. But it ends there. You may not blame her opinion as casting aspersions on your perspective. That is not the case. We are all mirrors to some degree. People will treat you as they have been treated by you. We all deserve a chance. This is why we are on this forum. Guest guest
Paul and others, Harbajan's response seemed harsh to me too. I saw Pauls' original question and felt, hey, this person needs love, I'll give it to him. We all respond to love, but many folks including me, don't respond well to the kind of message Harbajan sent. If you " yell " at me, I shrink or I leave. However, if you are kind and loving, I flourish. so that is how I treat others. Paul, please don't give up just because of HB's note. Guest guest
Dear Bridget, I need to love also and be loving. Sometimes it seems the hardest thing, but it does seem this Aquarian age will demand it(we be it). It can be the most frustrating thing also (for me), because I am not often able to love, but will get there. Cant think to say a lot else, Paul Kundalini-Yoga , " Bridget GuruBeant Kamke " <infinipede wrote: > > Paul and others, > Harbajan's response seemed harsh to me too.
