Guest guest
Sat Nam, I used to have a copy of The Ancient Art of Self-Healing & this book by Ravi Singh, that was a process of mix & match groups of asanas to form your own kriya. I can't remember the name of that book.... But, I would deeply like to regain possession of a copy of either of these books. If you can help me with that, please let me know. It's good to know there is a " community " out there of Kundalini practitioners, we've been 'satellites' for so long, sometimes it's just a challenge. But, we're still keeping up after all these years. Guest guest
Sat Nam! I just can tell you what we do (me and my friend teacher of Centro Yoga Jap - Jot Prakash Kaur) when we found interesting books: we try to see if they are on the common websites (spiritvoyage.com, a-healing.com, satnam.de) and, if we don't find them there, then we check on all the major ebay sites from all the countries (we've found all the books of Ravi Singh just on ebay......one of them arrived us from Australia!). It's worth a try ;-) Blessings! Guest guest
Sat Nam, I went to the Kundalini Yoga Info Cntr and looked under books and did not find " The Ancient Art of Self-Healing " so I added it into the collection and then I went to AMAZON where I found one copy of the book for $99. Hoping you find what you are looking for? Blessings, Sat Avtar Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam, I don't mean to be a harbinger of un-fun, and I don't know if this is relevant to you (so don't take it personally, please), but technically, KY teachers are not supposed to " mix and match " to " make your own kriyas " . At least, this is what I have been taught and have understood. I think at one point this was the norm with teachers, but then early on †" as I understand it †" YogiJi laid down the " law " , insuring that the teachings would live as they are without distillation. Plus, there's so much out there... with more coming with the Library of teachings being translated, your money is better spent (in my opinion only) on supporting the translation project. - Harbinger

Guest guest
Hi Stephanie, I'm a new Kundalini Teacher and I just discovered this site. I'm in heaven! Thanks to you and the others for hanging in there. There are more and more people discovering the peace and healing of Kundalini Yoga every day. I plan to teach until the day I transition. And if I'm fortunate enough to do that, I know I probably will have only scratched the surface of all the knowledge and wisdom in Yogi Bhajan's teachings. No two classes or Sadhannas are the same. Every day is a new journey. Guest guest
There was a joke that many of us who were around when Yogi Bhajan was alive use to tell... " Yogi ji said " ...that being said...in the 1970 " s he did leave a very, very small opening in his teachings for " making up sets " but " not to replace " kriyas/sets that he gave. I am certain that when the time comes....when we can all see auras, arc lines and radiant bodies, science can test the changes in neuron activites of the brain and we can track real time changes in glandular secretion... " making up sets " may be back. Yogi Bhajan was teaching for the future 5,000 years so lots can happen...as I heard the story, Yogi Bhajan gave the person some rules and said... " Keep it simple, son " At this point, I relate to the comments by Har Harbinger Singh. I simple share this so that the teachings of Yogi Bhajan remain relevant, transparent, and alive for every individual who practices...now and 5,000 years from now.
