Venus Lock and women and men

My understanding of why women had the left thumb on top was that at birth the

right hemisphere was dominant (and might or might not still be). The way I

heard it, thumb and brain hemisphere dominance were opposites. For men, it was

the right thumb and left brain dominance at birth (which might or might not be

true now). I can't remember if I ever heard Yogi Ji say this or if it was just

my yoga teachers who did. Does anyone else remember? Dukh Niwaran Kaur, Santa
