Guest guest
Sat nam Jis, I have two students with asthma that is treated medically. I would like to know if there are any pranayama or exercises that would be helpful to them. I would also like to know what they should NOT do in a KY class. Thank you for any insight. Peace, Jagatjeet Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam Jagatjeet When we were studying with Yogi Bhajan on one of his trips to Europe, my friend and myself (both of us being asthmatics) asked him what was the best thing for asthma. He said THE breath for asthma was Breath of Fire. I have not found that asthmatics need to avoid any particular asanas. However, as you probably know, it is not so difficult for asthmatics to inhale fully as it is to exhale fully. Too much inhaling and holding the breath I do not think is helpful - more helpful is to hold on the exhale. BoF really does work well and I can vouch for that. Guest guest
Sat Nam Jagatjeet Kaur, I cured myself completly of asthma, by using a method of tapping with my fingers on energy merdians on the face and hands. It takes 3 minutes of time, maybe several rounds of 3 minutes each. You can get FREE PDF MANUAL showing you how to do it here: http://www.emofree.com/ They have a wonderful, very large database, where people write in their experiences and what words they used. Guest guest
Yogi Bhajan as you know was so into herbs and potions. Food to cure trust me he put me on so many fasts. I have just found an herbal combination that helps lungs but specifically asthmatics. N-A_C Jarrow makes it here in the US just muscle test whatever brand. It has helped me release this lung infection I had for a very long time. Guest guest
Sat Nam Sets with bow pose and rocking bow are especially good. I had asthma when I started yoga. Those seemed to help the most.
