Dear friends,

The following contains some excerpts from a Healing Ardas:

I call this one Gurus' " Yummy Humble Pie "

Ingredients:

1. Guru's Dynamics

Before giving the Healing Ardas, I first asked for my client's birthdate, to

give me an idea of her inner dynamics. When I called upon Guru Ram Das, he had

me teach her how to chant " Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru " mantra using

the imagery of gathering up a ball of God's energy on " Guru Guru, " throwing it

up into the heavens as a ball of Divine Light on " Wahe Guru, " seeing this Divine

Light fall in blessing on the next " Guru " , and through a canopy on " Guru Ram

Das " , blessing oneself with God and Guru's blessings on " Guru " , before once

again imagining gathering it up, starting the mantra anew.

After my description of this visualization technique Guru Ram Das explained,

" The Gurus do not need to know her dynamics, she needs to know ours! " after

which we both couldn't stop laughing!

She is to do this meditation as a way of life, when and wherever she sees the

need, be it a miniscule canopy or one covering the earth.

2. Walk in Blessing

Guru Nanak gave her his sandals, to meditatively walk together as one, blessing

the earth with every step.

3. Unblock every Block

Guru Angad gave her a simple motion used in celestial communication to express

" Jis Simrat, Sukh Hoay, " — " by meditating on God at the heart, peace ensues, "

where the palms are together in Prayer Pose at the heart and unfold like a book

or flower, giving the blessings that come from meditation on God. This woman is

to apply that simple unfolding motion in imagination to unblock every block or

barrier in her life, moving from prayer to a peaceful flow of blessings.

4. Guru's Gaddi

Guru Arjan told the woman that she sits on his Gaddi, his throne! I almost

didn't tell her, yet got past it and realized he meant to sit like he used to

do, on the floor next the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, which she is to practice and

understand with equal reverence and humility.

5. Highest Honor

Guru Hargobind touched her feet (!) like he used to do so dearly with his

mother. He was humbly using the young woman's feet as handles for his swords,

Miri and Piri, working through her arms, with which he will cut away spiritual

misperceptions and clear worldly troubles with a single imagined stroke.

6. Guru's Breeze

Guru Har Rai will go running with this young woman, the wind in her face,

blowing through her, and blow away all sadness, grief, pain and lonliness.

7. A Clear Path

When we came to Guru Gobind Rai, I saw only a dirt road—the Path of Dharma,

without guardrails of any kind to keep one on the path, only its clear

existence. But my client imagined she " saw " a horse. She loves horses and was

insistent that she was to ride a horse on the Path of Dharma, because, in her

words, " It would help me! A horse goes straight. "

I commented that horses buck and twist around and misbehave and run off with

riders clutching the horn when they are headstrong or startled, and suggested

she walk, and went on to call upon Guru Gobind Singh.

8. Oneness through Love

Guru Gobind Singh led in a beautiful, richly saddled steed and said, " She is to

ride my horse. We will travel this path together as one.

She lovingly, happily accepted his gift, knowing Guru Gobind Singh fully

understood her greatest love and longing.

9. Saturation with Nam

On calling upon the final Guru, the Siri Guru Granth Sahib was seen to be

filling her heart, its rhythm the pulse of chanting God's name.

This Healing Ardas made it clear how the Gurus work equally through everyone.

Knowingly or unknowingly, all are Guru's brides capable of divine union.
