Guest guest
Sat Nam dear sangat ! I had a inner vision that I am going to teach Kundalini Yoga to the elderly. I did teacher training last year and now I am thinking about teaching the elderly at the place where I work as a psychiatric nurse... Besides taking care in a human and professional way of the elderly I have no experience in teaching KY to them... I would be more then grateful for information, experiences and tips from teachers from this wonderful sangat ??? I know some of you are already teaching seniors and I would love to hear from you...thank you. Love, Peace and Light to you and all! Guest guest
Sat Nam, dear Satmukh Kaur, you may find great help in the book " Dying into Life " by Guru Terath Kaur Khalsa Ph.D., which shows how to practice kriyas and meditations sitting in a chair o lying on a bed (as it is obviously hard for most elderly people to sit in easy pose on the floor).
