Sat Nam,

Recently we had Winter Solstice relating to the Earth Element. After the three

days of Tantra I noticed immediately that I was waking up early without even

trying to for early morning Sadhana. This lasted for about 40 days or more. (I

thought this was just because of WT.)

But just this mothers day my teacher did a very Earthy " Mother of all Yogas " KY

workshop, after which I was immediately up early again for Sadhana the next day

(after having fallen off a bit).

It's nice when one can make literal connections of benefits from Kundalini

Yoga... and just waking up early isn't all I experienced... Both times I've felt

more happiness, greater outward projection of positivity, more sense of purpose

and motivation... and a better initiative towards my sadhana experience (more

time, more dedicated, basically) which then leads to other benefits.

Soooooo...

---------------

My question is a few parts:

1) How working on the earth element relate/cause to waking up early? How about

to procrastination? Being positive? And Sadhana? How?

2) Does anyone else have any other similar (or different) experiences with the

Earth Element relating to motivational results (for people who have trouble

getting up for early work, for example, but also for completing tasks, or being

more balanced? etc.).

3) What kinds of exercises and meditations are considered strong in the Earth

Element, or help in grounding and strengthening this element in our Tattvas.

I have some of my own ideas... (Or maybe it's just me, and I wasn't really

grounded before... ) but I thought it might be a nice topic to cover... I know

WT+KRI has already moved into the Water Tattva this year... so maybe this would

be a good way to consolidate knowledge, wisdom and experiences on the Earth

Tattva as we transition forward.

Any input/thoughts/whatever welcome!

Thanks!

-Fateh Singh
